What is Behavioral Health?

Behavioral health refers to the connection between a person's behaviors and the well-being of their mental health. It encompasses services aimed at treating mental health conditions such asa anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, and other psychological or emotional disorders.Behavioral health services may include therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, and addiction trea tment.

What services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of behavioral health services, including:

Individual Therapy: One-on-one sessions with licensed therapists to address mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Group Therapy: Support groups for individuals facing similar challenges, such as addiction or anxiety.
Family Counseling: Helping families communicate more effectively and manage relationship challenges.
Crisis Intervention: Immediate support for those facing mental health crises or suicidal ideation.

How do I know if I need behavioral health services?

If you are experiencing ongoing feelings of sadness, anxiety, stress, or difficulty managing everyday tasks, it may be helpful to seek behavioral health support. If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, a traumatic experience, or mental health symptoms, speaking to a professional can provide guidance and treatment options. A consultation with one of our clinicians can help you determine the best path forward.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans, including but not limited to:

What should I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, you will have an intake assessment with a clinician. This involves a conversation about your current mental health, any concerns you have, and your medicalhistory. This session helps us understand your needs and develop a treatment plan tailored to you. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask questions and get to know your provider.

Is my information confidential?

Yes, your privacy is our priority. All patient information is kept confidential and protected in compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations. We willnot share your personal health information without your consent, except in cases where disclosure is required by law (such as for safety or legal reasons).

How long will therapy or treatment take?

The length of therapy or treatment depends on your unique needs and goals. Some individualsbenefit from short-term therapy, while others may require longer-term treatment for ongoingchallenges. Your clinician will work with you to establish a timeline and adjust as necessary based on your progress.

Do you offer telehealth services?

Yes, we offer telehealth (virtual therapy) services for individuals who are unable to attendin-person appointments. T elehealth allows you to connect with a licensed provider from the comfort of your home using a secure video conferencing platform.

What should I do in a mental health emergency or crisis?

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Additionally, we offer crisis interventionservices and can provide guidance on how to manage a situation until help arrives.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling our office at 575-707-0792, or by visiting ourwebsite and using the online appointment scheduling tool. If you are new to our practice, ourintake team will guide you through the process and help you schedule your first visit.

Can my family member or loved one access services?

Yes, we provide services for both individuals and families. Family members who are concernedabout a loved one’s behavior or mental health can participate in family counseling sessions tolearn how to best support the individual. Our team is here to help you and your family navigate these challenges.

What are your office hours?

Our office hours are as follows:
● Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM For telehealth services, we can accommodate different time zones and schedules. Please contact us to find a time that works best for you.

How do I know if therapy is working?

The effectiveness of therapy can be measured in several ways, including improvements in your mood, thoughts, behaviors, and overall well-being. Your therapist will work with you to set goals and track progress. If at any time you feel that your treatment is not working, please discuss itwith your provider so they can make adjustments to your plan.
